Man-Made Diamonds ...

Diamonds are so pretty but unfortunately they cost a fortune.  I have never owned a diamond in my whole life so naturally, I want one.  Either it be in the form of an earring or a diamond ring, I don’t really care. I must have one period.

Although diamonds, no doubt, are one of the prettiest things on earth there is one thing that bothers me about them and that is the way it is mined from the depths of the soil.  I heard it is not friendly to the environment to mine these gems.  Aside from that, there is also exploitation of the miners who have to go through inhuman conditions just to get these stones.  It wouldn’t really feel right if I wear something that nearly cost a man’s life, even if it’s as pretty as diamond.  Good thing there are Man-made Diamonds to satisfy the demand.  These diamonds are environment friendly because they are cultured in laboratories. I hope people would see the ill effects mining brings to our planet so they should consider Green and environment gem to buy instead. Now, I don’t just want a diamond.  I want a man-made diamond.

Cars for Sale ...

At the entrance of Market! Market! we saw different vehicles on display. We oohed and aahed at the brand new cars and SUVs that they were selling. Some of the offers were really so tempting!  Imagine, just paying P25k all in and you’ll take home a brand new Kia Rio. It was interesting to note that that car was not the cheapest among the bunch. Also on display was a car of the Cherry brand which, although less attractive and much smaller compared to the normal cars, it was only an affordable 299k! For such price, our brother who doesn’t have a car of his own yet was tempted to buy it on the spot.
Anyway, it was nice to dream of owning those cars. How I wish we were well off enough to buy our own car. If we have money to spare we wouldn’t mind splurging on brand new cars. The smell of its rich leather is pleasant to the nose and I’m sure my hubby would have a grand time driving it with smooth efficiency. However, if we have all that money we would be buying different cars for each. I know our little boy has a penchant for Audi cars and would be thrilled to own an audi tt. My husband, on the other hand, would love to drive a reliable dodge charger.  I like those big muscular SUVs and would love to drive a dodge ram.
But for now, we will have to settle for our good old Mazda. It’s not as shiny and as fast as the brand new cars on display but it serves its own purpose and takes us everywhere we want to go with no problem.

Artificial Flowers for your House ...

Flowers have the power to heal the soul and all your heart’s wounds. This is the reason why you give flowers to your loved ones when things turned sour. You give flowers to the people who are at the hospital. Flowers, though may seem worthless to other people, can do all the magic and wonders you could ever imagine. With this being said, having flowers all around you would be a great idea.

However, real flowers only remain fresh for just a short period of time. And if you want to be surrounded with these beautiful and colorful creations all the time, you may find yourself spending too much on bunches of flowers and buying every now and then to replace the withered ones on the vase. An artificial flower will never be a bad substitute. It has the same beauty and power like the real ones but will always be fresh. This means you will save a lot and will not be buying real flowers that often. You will be amazed to see that artificial flowers do not actually look like fake ones. The difference will only be revealed once you touch them. There are also artificial plants you can use to decorate your house, especially when you have had problems before of keeping indoor plants healthy.

Love Your Heart on Valentine’s ...

At last February, the love month, is here. Most people commonly spend Valentine’s Day with that special someone in their lives. For this year, why not make February 14 even more special by devoting much needed attention on that organ which you associate with love, namely your heart?!

Indeed, make Valentine’s Day a “Healthy Heart Day” by following these healthful tips…

1) Start this Valentine’s Day to eat a nutritiously balanced diet. Of course, you don’t need to give up those juicy meats and those tasty sweets. Eat small, but healthy portions from each food group. Always choose low fat and low cholesterol foods.

2) Eat more of vegetables and fruits, especially those that are high in antioxidants.

3) Eat less of red or canned or processed foods, such as hams and hotdogs. Red may be the color of Valentine’s Day, but red meats are certainly not healthy for your heart and your body.

4) Eat more fish, especially those rich in omega-3 fatty acids like tuna. Also, eat more of products from the sea. Those tasty oysters are actually great aphrodisiacs in boosting one’s libido.

5) Eat more high fiber foods, such as wheat, oatmeal, corn, and whole grain foods.

6) Quit smoking and drinking alcohol now. Not only will your wife and girlfriend love you even more for it, your heart will be much healthier.

7) Start exercising daily. Did you know that exercise can be a romantic endeavor especially if you do it with that special someone?

8) Learn how to cope with stress. One need not be burdened by problems 24/7. Allot time for yourself when you can just sit down and relax.
